Look Forward to Upgrades and New Features

At Spitzer CDJR Cleveland we’re just as excited about the new 2022 Dodge Durango features as you are. With five distinct models to choose from and a range of engine options, there’s a lot to look forward to on the new Durango with a release date expected in the second quarter of this year.

For starters, 2022 Dodge Durango standard features will include Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Path Detection—previously not available on the 2021 Dodge Durango base trim and an upgrade on the rest of the lineup. Also, the SXT trim will have standard third-row seating that will up the passenger capacity from five to seven people.

New 2022 Dodge Durango Configurations

The 2022 Durango will be available in five trim levels—SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, and the SRT 392. Each trim embodies the Durango’s proven performance and utility with intelligent powertrains, Class-leading towing power, and excellent driving dynamics.

The 392-cubic-inch HEMI V-8 and 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engines paired with the Tow N Go Package haul more than every other full-size, three-row SUV on the road with an incredible 8,700 lbs towing capacity, while the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine also has an impressive 6,200 lbs towing capacity.

Technology That Upgrades the Journey

The spacious interior of the new Durango features a Challenger-inspired driver-centric cockpit, instrument panel, center console, and front door uppers—all redesigned to be driver-centric and provide easier access for both the driver and front-seat passenger.

The available 10.1-inch center stack touchscreen system angles toward the driver and is flush with upscale technology that makes it a best-in-class. The infotainment system features Uconnect 5 and comes standard with TomTom navigation, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto.

More Safety Means More Peace of Mind

Every 2022 Dodge Durango trim will be equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection, and the SXT trim will now feature the ParkSense Rear Park Assist System just like the other four trims, adding more features to boost your peace of mind.

To further increase safety, the SXT, GT, and R/T trims are included in the Plus Group Package which means they gain several advanced safety systems including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Lane Departure Warning Plus, and Advanced Brake Assist.

Dodge has upped the overall safety on the Durango with seven standard air bags, Uconnect Access with 9-1-1 Call and Roadside Assistance, standard Trailer-Sway Control, available Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation, and more than 60 other available safety and security features.

Comfort and Convenience Come Standard

The 2022 Durango combines its powerful performance with conveniences and features that add luxury and style to the ride. The R/T Plus Package includes Nappa leather seats, a sunroof, a Harman Kardon Premium Audio system, the Premium Interior Package, and more.

The GT Plus package includes rain-sensing automatic wipers, leather seats with suede inserts, and heated front seats and second-row seats among other features. The Blacktop Package now includes a Performance Hood on the GT and P265/50R20 performance all-season tires on the GT and R/T models.
