There are multiple engine configurations available with the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The standard is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 295 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque to either two or four-wheel drive. In both – this engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain configuration can haul up to 6,200 pounds.

The next engine option is a 5.7-liter V8 engine. This is where the performance is enhanced, producing 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft of torque. Like the V6, this engine receives an eight-speed automatic transmission and is combined with all-wheel drive. Each V8 engine ups the towing capacity 1,000 additional pounds.

The Grand Cherokee SRT utilizes a special 6.4-liter V8 that belts out 475 ponies and 470 lb.-ft of torque. If that’s not enough horsepower for your liking, the Trackhawk Grand Cherokee receives the 6.2-liter Hellcat engine that produces 707 horsepower and 645 lb.-ft of torque.

For improved backing a ParkSense^® Rear Park Assist and Rear Back Up Camera gives you the flexibility to back into tight spots with confidence.

The ProTech II Package is available with the Altitude, Laredo and Upland trims. This safety bundle includes a Forward Collision Warning system with Active Braking, and an Advanced Brake Assisted for improved emergency braking. Likewise, a LaneSense^® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist is available in the ProTech II package.

The top-tier Advanced ProTech II Package comes standard on High Altitude, Summit, SRT^®, Limited X, and Trackhawk^® trims. It’s available with the Trailhawk^®, Overland, and Overland editions. This bundle includes a Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, which brings the Grand Cherokee to a full stop if an imminent frontal collision below 25 miles per hour is detected.

It also includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist.

Luxury, Comfort, and Convenience
