Electric vehicles are the future of the automotive industry, so you will see more and more electric cars released in the next several years. Will Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Jeep be releasing their electric models? Absolutely! While the current lineups include plug-in hybrids like the Chrysler Pacifica and the Jeep 4xe models, these four automakers will continue to provide many exceptional options for car shoppers interested in an electric vehicle. Learn more below!

Future Electric Chrysler

For Chrysler’s second century in the business, they plan to introduce a full lineup of innovative, seamlessly-connected electric vehicles by 2028. Designers and engineers have been working on the development of this lineup, which includes two main concepts:

  • Chrysler Airflow Concept – This concept is of an intelligent battery-electric SUV that reinvents the user experience completely. Other highlights include intuitive tech, sustainable materials, and leading-edge design.
  • Chrysler Halcyon Concept – This inspiring vehicle features dramatic sculptural styling, a powerful AI assistant, customizable EV drive models, an 800-volt lithium-sulfur battery, and more.

Future Electric Dodge

The Dodge Hornet R/T is the first electric Dodge vehicle as well as the quickest and most powerful CUV in the segment. This plug-in hybrid vehicle is impressive with a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery and an all-electric range of 32 miles. But what if you want an all-electric Dodge? When can you expect one?

Back in 2022, Dodge introduced a concept car or the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept to be exact. This concept reveals that the brand’s all-electric muscle car will still look like, sound like, and drive like a Dodge.

Recently, there is good news for fans who mourned the last of gas-powered Dodge muscle vehicles because the automaker isn’t quite done with gas-powered muscle cars and is planning to offer a gas version for the next-generation Charger, as reported by The Drive. This means Lakewood car shoppers can go for an all-electric model or go for a gas-powered one. It’s rumored that this next-gen Charger might be for sale in 2024 and it’s expected to cost at least $50K.

Future Electric RAM

RAM is about to revolutionize the truck industry very soon with their first all-electric truck coming Q4 of 2024. Currently, RAM has game plans for three electric models and they also have a concept idea that shows what these all-electric RAM vehicles could be. Learn more here:

  • RAM 1500 REV – First-ever light-duty electric RAM truck with a brand-new exterior design, standard driving range of 350 miles, and a game-changing frunk. Expected to come Q4 of 2024.
  • The 2025 RAM 1500 RAMCHARGER – Coming 2025, this range-extended electric truck is built with a range-defying battery and generator. Expect the best of both worlds of power and range as the Ramcharger will deliver a best-in-class targeted 690 total miles of range.

Future Electric Jeep

The Jeep lineup currently has the 4xe plug-in hybrids, the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, but they’re expected to add more to the 4xe lineup with all-electric models, such as:

  • Jeep Recon – The Recon takes a page from the Wrangler and is made for adventurers. This electric Jeep is a rugged and capable fully electric SUV that’s expected to be available in 2024.
  • Wagoneer “S” – The Wagoneer “S” is designed for drivers who crave the premiumness of the Wagoneer but as an electric model. It is also expected to be available in 2024, so you won’t have to wait much longer in Brook Park!
